The thing is, I'm not really a fan of Star Trek. I've watched some of it, but don't know the context of 2/3 of the things here.

Whats weird is taht there are two sets of white boots yet those are medical boots and there don't appear to be medics on the bridge in this scene. Also the three people behind the tactical station are engineer and science division and the missing boot seems to be command division. So someone is stealing boots.
