[Resolved] Follow up on Federation Issues

UPDATE: This has been resolved as of August 19, 2023

I’m sure I sound like a broken record at this point, but is there any word on the federation issues between lemmy.world and Instances like fanaticus.social? Seems it’s been 3-4 weeks since posts/comments federated properly between those two.

I know there has been a lot going on over the last month, and this is probably low on the priority list, but I don’t think I’ve seen it formally addressed here.

Are you sure there isn’t a defederation in there? That sounds like the result of a defederation.
- It does sound like that. But it’s a sports-based instance. They just talk about football and baseball, mostly. I have no idea why they would have been intentionally defederated.
  
  You can always check what instances someone federates with - there's an "instances" link on the bottom of every Lemmy homepage.
  
  They may have defederated world. A few different instances have defederated world because it has open registration, and is one of the primary instances where spam accounts originate.
