This is the kind of news that plays in the background of disaster films before it all goes to shit.
The evacuated properties were built about three years ago, on the site of a former sand quarry.

Oh dear. Must be some very nervous residents in the area right now.
- "Sotheby ground" as in "going, going, gone"?
- Pulls air through teeth...I think I know the problem
- Why do we keep letting new builds be built on old quarries?
