  This country has never cared about kids. If we did, the Catholic church would be labeled as a pedophile organization, and automatic weapons would be banned nation wide. Instead, kids are still molested and school shootings occur every week.

I have no idea how the fuck a parent can 'love' their child like this. I'm a parent. I would move mountains for my kid. I would do anything to keep this from happening to him, pay any price. And all it takes is a quick poke in the arm and a few days of the sniffles? Easiest fucking choice.
