Pierre Poilievre Wants Radical Austerity for Canada
Conservative Pierre Poilievre’s politics aren’t just about populism — they’re grounded in Milton Friedman’s radical vision of free markets. If he is elected prime minister, Poilievre promises a Canada where the welfare state is “out of business.”

Just drink piss, Pierre. Drink piss, all day long. It's the only useful thing you can do at this point.
1 0 ReplyGotta wonder if Harper still has any influence over him.
24 1 ReplyWell he won't undergo a background check to get security clearance so I guess we'll never know who is pulling his strings!
12 1 ReplyIf he does, he’ll have to pay attention to intel about how the US, and foreign influence is working to get him elected.
If I don’t know, I can’t be accountable.

You KNOW Harper is still active behind the curtain.
11 2 ReplyIndeed; there's no doubt about it. He's chairman of the IDU, which works hard to advance right-leaning policies worldwide.

In January, he did say that Trump's threats aren't the words of "a friend," so let's hope he is working FOR our national interests...

So basically, anything that government is doing that corporations could do, he's arguing that they should be doing, "because freedom".
I'm unconvinced that with more libertarian economic policies, I will feel more "free", and that this supposed freedom will make my life better.
13 0 ReplyLook how well it's working in the USA! I don't understand Canadians who look at the swindling, oppressive, exploitative fascist shitshow over there and decide Canada should be more like that.

Not Canadian but have a suggestion: throw him to the sea.
9 0 ReplyI have a bad feeling he is going to win.
9 0 ReplyBefore it was a foregone conclusion. With Trudeau gone, and with Trump now president there does seem to be some hope.

Interesting how all of this austerity stuff is pretty in line with Elon Musk eh?
6 0 ReplyDidn't he used to wear glasses
2 0 ReplyYep. He reformed his image after everyone called him Milhouse. Now he tries to be a swaggering big man. Still no actual policies to help people though. He's more about the complaining and hurting people who are already hurting. See also: Republicans.
