Voyager 1.1.0 update breaks images in Fennec/Firefox for Android
Just updated and noticed most images have got broken thumbnails
It's not just Firefox. I'm having the same problem with the chromium based Samsung browser.
13 0 ReplyI can confirm, I'm having the same issue on my PWA which is being powered by Microsoft Edge.
4 0 ReplyCan confirm, same here

Same here. Broken in Firefox android, works fine in Chrome android. I'd like to stick with Firefox though, because Chrome. (Whatever the outcome, thank you Voyager dev 😍)
6 0 ReplyIt actually has the problem with the Android browser for me too
Are you sure you're not on an older version of the PWA on chrome?

I cannot reproduce this in Firefox for Android. If anyone can provide additional information to help me reproduce, that would be appreciate it!
4 0 ReplyStill on 1.1.0
The URL for one of the community icons is
Which gives me "Query deserialize error: invalid digit found in string"
Edit: After update to 1.1.1 the icon works
The URL from 1.1.1 is

2 0 ReplyOH, I see, devicePixelRatio can be a non-integer and that breaks the thumbnail request. I'll fix it!

I am not able to replicate on Android FF either, but Chrome does have this issue. Maybe your setup is the same that way?
1 0 ReplyHmmm, I can't repro in Chrome Android either 😅
In any case, I reverted the change, 1.1.1 should resolve this.

Same in Chrome on Android
3 0 ReplySame here, using hermit
2 0 ReplyOmg, thanks for reminding me about Hermit. I had it a few phones ago. I've installed it... And images load fine in vger.app - strange that everyone is having different experience with what works and doesn't.
1 0 ReplyYour welcome. For me it is only icons of communities that do not show up

Fixed now on 1.1.1!
1 0 ReplyThat's probably an issue with the instance where the communities are.
Lemmy syncs posts with your instance, but the images are store on the remote instance, if the instance are having issues the images wont show
