Americans are exhausted by political news. TV ratings and a new AP-NORC poll show they're tuning out
A lot of Americans, after an intense presidential election campaign, are looking for a break in political news.
It's only partly true. I am a bit exhausted but not as much as I am just done with the controlled-opposition bullshit propaganda.
I’m not exhausted, I feel like the news has failed in mission to speak truth to power. That continuing to give them my attention only serves probably someone’s capitalist bottom line.
So, I say no click for you.
All the news is capitalist propaganda.
The mainstream media is following one of two approaches. Either, they are actively trying to attract MAGA supporters at the expense of their current readership, or they are so shit scared of Trump retaliation that they refuse to be critical. In either case, their current audience doesn’t like it, and good luck at competing Fox News for Maga.
