[News] FromSoftware's parent company has confirmed Sony approaching them about a potential buyout

ony is in talks to acquire Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware which is the developer of games like Elden Ring and Dark Souls.

I hope they say no, I don't want From to become part of a brand like that. They've created so many amazing games, if Sony (or Microsoft I guess) takes over they're going to try to make things more efficient, push for more and faster releases and focus on console exclusives again.
- Agree. I'd trust Sony to have an ounce of respect for the games but monopolies are never good. They for sure should stay the hell away from MS though :D
