Explanation: Latin looks and sounds cool, but it is a Hell Language with infinite declensions and conjugations and other minor grammatical nuances. You want to learn someone’s pronouns in Latin? Best get a paper and pad, it’ll take a while. Pronouns aren’t as important in Latin, though, as it’s a pro-drop language. Context usually fills in for pronouns.
Also, mandatory statement that ‘they/them’ is a perfectly good singular gender-neutral pronoun and I will die on this hill.
The number of declensions and conjugations are very much finite. Linguistically there were only three genders (male, female, neutral) but those pronouns had a singular and plural, x5 for nomination, genitive, dative, accusative, and ablative cases. It sounds like a lot but it's not nearly as scary as it sounds.
Damn wokeness is ruining English. They/them just sounds unnatural for referring to a singular person. It’s for plural use only. A person can’t use their own preference whenever they want! A leftist will just act like they can just make up grammar and syntax at their leisure!
Your satire isn't exaggerated enough. This is exactly what some people believe. The only giveaway is your proper use of spelling and punctuation. And using fifth grade vocab words (too high).
Look, you are just flat out wrong about singular they. Singular they is used all the time in conversations. Even Shakespeare used singular they to refer to a person. Hamlet act 3 scene 3 line 34.
Personal pronouns aren’t new either. The bible gives God personal pronouns, He/Him, since His pronouns are always capitalized when He is referred to.
Grammar isn’t being made up, the tools that already exist are being used in ways that make you uncomfortable for some weird reason.
