It's good to have practical steps like this laid out. It's awful that it's necessary. I'm not transgender but I live in Alberta aka Canada's Texas, and during our last elections I was defending transgender people left and right against open hatred. It's absolutely insane how quickly "I don't understand that and wouldn't want it for myself" turns into "it's evil and no one can have it".
