I mean, I can understand him not liking Oliver Stone's version of Natural Born Killers... even though I enjoyed it more on multiple viewings, but to not even give some remakes a chance... it's just stupid.
Imagine not watching The Wizard of Oz because he's seen the 1925 version. Or Scarface, or The Departed, or Cape Fear, or The Thing, or Ocean's 11, or The Birdcage.
And didn't he pitch a remake of First Blood and thought about remaking his own Reservoir Dogs?
