Nacelle Toys First Wave of Star Trek Figures is a Series of Pleasantly Surprising Deep Cuts
Some of you here are going to be rather interested in the choices for Nacelle Toys first wave of Star Trek figurines.
The complete list
- Captain Edward Jellico (comes with Picard's fish tank and finger painting from Picard Day)
- Midshipman Peter Preston (comes with battle damage for the chest and head)
- Valkris (her "special feature" is "saying goodbye")
- Captain Rachael Garrett (comes with fatal debris)
- Tuvix (comes with "unique uniform" (and a lot of moral dilemma))
- Mirror Captain Jonathan Archer (wearing the green TOS tunic, comes with poisoned champagne)
- Weyoun (special feature is "sliminess", also coincidentally figure number 007)
- Captain Hikaru Sulu (comes with a tea cup and saucer)
Apart from the obvious WTFness of this list, it's funny how apart from the first and last figure all of these character met an untimely demise.
I would have preferred Wayoun 8, with Garak shooting him.
9 0 Reply“That was our last Weyoun.”
9 0 ReplyFEMALE CHANGELING: I wish you hadn’t done that. That was Weyoun’s last clone.
GARAK: I was hoping you’d say that.

OMG a Tuvix. I am decidedly not a person that collects/buys figurines, but I want this. That way I can do my best Janeway, drinking coffee and casually insulting Tuvix's existence
8 0 ReplyWTFness is right. I shouldn't have had to look up who Peter Preston was. I forgot that guy even had a name.
8 0 ReplySeeing Scotty openly crying still kind of messes me up.
7 0 ReplyIt is definitely an important scene in the film, but it's more important for Scotty in terms of story and character development (as many sacrificed minor characters are in films).
I don't know, it feels like making the toy of him and not of Scotty is showing a misunderstanding of his place in the film.
