Why do so many lemmy instances have non-traditional TLDs?
Why do so many lemmy instances have non-traditional TLDs?
I’ve seen:
- .ml
- .social
- .world
- .cuz
Is it due to cheaper registration and/or renewal fees? Or are there simply more availability on those TLDs?

Not an expert, but to me it simply seems that you can have more domains that start with Lemmy.
7 0 ReplyI think theyre cheaper. Due to being the standard, .com, .org etc are more sought after.
