message system on lemmy?

I'm using jerboa. Am I able to message users? I can't find a way to and wondering if I'm just dumb

I'm not seeing one either, only options to block or report.
- i see a tab that says "messages" when i check my inbox. do you see that as well?

It's not present on the app yet. I only see the option when on the website
