Sometimes I thought that could be the case, but then remember when I played mafia: the people causing chaos are never secretly the good ones, because even if intentions are secretly good (or they think they know best), the long-lasting effects of setting the wrong example in positions of power, making misleading arguments, obfuscating the truth, contradicting themselves and avoiding accountability, disrupting clarity and healthy communication are unambiguously destructive.
I never implied that Musk was a good guy. I think he's a selfish scheming piece of trash taking advantage of another sociopathic billionaire that has dementia.
Trump is one of the only people on earth dumb enough and obsessed with social media enough to fall for it.
Yea, I figured half way that maybe by scamming you just meant for money and not to undermine him (even if it may look like it, because the escalating failures are so egregious), but just kept going because I wanted to get that off my chest after seeing too many elonstans covering for him on reddit, sorry :)
True but think about it like this: He tells Trump that Twitter is way more popular than whatever shit he has, but that's ok cuz he'll cut a sweet deal and they can have Twitter and merge it with all the other ones.
Call it X Squared or something stupid
This is kinda what I thought about when writing the original question
Definitely not. Elon is a an impulsive, greedy, psychopathic moron just like Trump. These are not men coming up with mastermind plans. They genuinely believe their own bullshit.
