Marseille have stepped up their efforts to sign Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal after submitting an improved proposal for the striker on Tuesday.

Him potentially going for less than Balogun is wild, but at the same time, his record doesn't warrant a higher price tag, even if his level of ability says otherwise.
I agree, but not likely to get the right money from a European sale. And I’m not seeing any English clubs in for him, so what do you do? The lad needs to play and he’s not going to get games at Arsenal.
Yeah, but it's not going up unless an English club comes in for him. I was hoping Leicester would bite, but it doesn't seem like anyone else is interested.
If that's all we're getting why don't we just keep him? We regularly use him anyway and if ESR is actually gone we might see Havertz at midfield more too which adds even more reason
Because he's not good enough. He's a square peg in a round hole. He can go elsewhere and reach at least European class, but for us, he just doesn't offer enough and we need to move him on to bring in who we really need.
I genuinely disagree that he doesn't bring enough, especially as a second-third choice. He's not great but he's worth the 20m, especially given the dearth of strikers on the market.
