President Biden says he won’t offer commutation to his son Hunter after gun sentence
President Joe Biden says he will not use his presidential powers to lessen the eventual sentence that his son Hunter will receive for his federal felony conviction on gun crimes.

I don't actually care that much. As much as he's been drug through it all here. We have too much incarceration as is
I want to believe, but I bet if the sentence is too harsh, and Biden doesn’t win reelection, he will change his mind. Or maybe even if he does win and no longer cares. But I see that as less likely.
I would actually be somewhat understanding of that, if for no other reason than I would be very concerned with what the orange man would do to someone already in prison.
That’s a good point. Though I worry for every democrat that opposes the orange man. If he wins, he will be emboldened like he never was before.
