We aren't celebrating the act of kidnapping women or stealing stars when we build a bowser statue. We are observing our history of class warfare and research into turtle/dragon/koopa hybrids. It's our heritage.

It’s not about hate, it’s about a lizard’s right to have seven children, disown them but still allow them to work for you under your new kid who mysteriously disappears and is replaced by another child you call JR (despite one of your first seven having JR in his name but sharing the rest of your name.)
