As someone who didn’t watch the Super Bowl, can anyone translate to regular people speak?
People who are white and privileged were called out on their privilege. They're mad about it.

There was also a Samuel L Jackson playing Uncle Sam. The maga crowd immediately hates that.
Specifically he played a caricature of racist white people. The racist white people didn't appreciate being mocked.
Not knowing anything about the performers, I found it boring. But it was totally inoffensive. Just black folks being on stage, front and center, celebrating their culture.

I am totally out of the loop on the Kendrick/drake battle and don’t listen to them. But, without verging too far into me being exactly who this meme is about, compared to other half time shows it seemed smaller? Like there didn’t seem to really be any other guest artists and it felt like it was building to a big moment that just never really happened. That could have been the A Minor song, but I just didn’t get it. The audio mix on the broadcast didn’t help. The music seemed turned down very low. I was watching it the whole time thinking I feel like I’m missing something and this might be really cool. /shrug
I don’t know about a battle or a beef. Kendrick straight up demolished Drake, who is a pedophile.
I'm not familiar with his music, but I found it basically impossible to understand any of the lyrics given the bad mix.
