What you need to do is divest yourselves of these billionaire leeches and embrace the working class.
It has a sort of logic to it. In a capitalist system to best way to fight is using massive amounts of money. Or violence. And the choices seem rather limited these days...
It really doesn't, especially when you look at the amount of enthusiasm Bernie's campaign generated. This isn't the 90's anymore and people aren't prospering like they have historically.
But Bernie lost anyways because he didn't have the support of the capitalist elite, who as we can see are the true determiners of election outcomes.
Bernie lost because Democrats have no principles and subverted the democratic primary process via superdelegates.
And Democrats follow the will of the capitalist elite. They won't allow anyone to come to power who would substantially challenge the status quo, no matter how much support they have from the people.
You're not wrong, but that statement doesn't give them proper credit for the reprehensible fuckery they pulled during the 2016 primary.
