Serious question... does people really believe Trump is a fascist and will end democracy? If scientists built a time machine & announced they were sending someone back in time to shoot Hitler but the time traveler gets taken out by SS instead, would the news media be calling them a coward?
No it isn't. If you believe Trump is a fascist and will end democracy, isn't that what soldiers fight for and die for everyday to try to save? Are they cowards too like the media has portrayed the would be assassin? If he was trying to save democracy, then doesn't that make him a hero?
Trump has millions of enemies, that is something which comes with the turf of being a pathological asshole, and far from everybody hates him because he is trying to end democracy. We have no idea what the reasoning for the shooting was, except that it was carried out by a Republican.
That's it. The rest of your rambling are pathetic strawmen.
I see that you don't actually think he's going to end democracy. You obviously would still think the assassin was a coward if you don't actually believe Trump is a fascist.
Trump ending democracy is his own campaign promise. Thinking otherwise requires that you ignore his own words and live in a state of total denial that anything bad ever happens.
So then you must believe that the assassin was actually a courageous hero then, right? Do cowards sacrifice their life knowing they'll most likely die in order to try to save democracy?
He was just a loser who did it to get famous, so not a hero in any sense. I fully admit that Trump dying would be amazing, especially if the GOP fumbled as a result, but I don't think an assassination would be best in hindsight. It would be great if he died of natural causes and couldn't be martyred, as he is a serious threat who should be banished from society.
