  • Hey i went to school with Nelson, cool to see his stuff in the wild!

  • Kbin.chat - New general purpose instance for spreading the load
  • I disagree, you can say kbin and mean either one and new users would still end up with a functioning account. It's much harder explaining to someone fedia.io is the same as kbin.

  • It is interesting. It might even help negate hivemind behaviour because your name is tied to your actions.

  • I agree it's an odd choice. I had someone I don't know reduce my post and all my comments about becoming a dad. It's been a hard choice to not go and reduce all of their stuff in return ¯\(ツ)/¯ which I guess is why is a bad idea.

If you click on the "more" button under a comment or link there will be an activity tab. In this tab you can see everyone who has boosted, favourited or reduced the post. I'm not sure if this a Is a good feature but it's interesting to see when someone decides to reduce all of your content for no reason.

  • Look up Plex. And then look up Plexshares. Unfortunately the subreddit is private at the moment so I'm not sure where else to look but I am a part of one and I pay 18AUD, have access to all the latest movies Anne TV shows that are on streaming or have been on streams.

What was your first PC game ever, and how did you react to it?
  • Age of empires. Straight out of a Nutri-Grain box like 20 years ago. Always thought I was pretty good at it because I played when I was a kid. Turns out I used cheats a lot and the game is actually super hard for me.

Any advice and/or stories from early parenthood anyone wants to share would be appreciated!

Edit: just wanted to say I'm reading all the comments and appreciate everyone. The newborn is keeping me busy!

  • What are some of your favorite game mechanics?
  • I was looking at Shadows of Doubt earlier today. Looks great, would you recommend it?
