Regarding issues plaguing the website over the past few days
  • Yep, it’s been pretty unstable for the past few days and I appreciate you taking the time to fix it.

Do/should we have a status page so that users know that something is wrong and the maintainers are aware of it?

  • Favorite things to cook that are simple/not long?
  • The word दाल(daal) is a Hindi word used for both the raw lentils/pulses and the cooked dish. It’s a good source of protein and very easy to cook if you have an instant pot or a pressure cooker. Pair it with rice & some salad and voila! You’ve got a hearty and healthy meal which is light on the pocket.

  • “You May Be A Communist If . . .”
  • You believe it is theft (and subversive behavior) when someone else makes a profit from your labor, even though they pay you fair-market wages.

I can feel the hesitation they had while writing the first part because of how bad it sounds. They had to add “even though they pay you fair-market wages.” to make it halfway agreeable.

  • *Checks notes* IMPERIALISM???
  • If it actually has some impact it would be good to finally see the war end. On the other side, I don’t know how I feel about US taking the credit for negotiations and “ending the war”.

Also, has the looming debt crisis, de-dollarization etc. pushing US to broker peace or is it something else? It should be embarrassing for them to talk about negotiations when they have been so vocally against it.

  • *Permanently Deleted*
  • I gotta be honest, i don’t understand that reference 草, my Japanese skills are still elementary. “ご苦労サンバ” lead me to a song, but probably I need some cultural context to get it.
