Probably means that they're using higher quality ingredients than their competitors, not that their product costs more. Though it does beg the question of how their pricing matched up.
One of my favorite episodes so far this season! The comedy of drunk, over-confident Aqua combined with useless, fawning Megumin leaves poor Darkness trying to handle things solo. Second favorite bit was ol' Kazuma ready to fall (literally) on the sword just to save face with Iris. And what a cute ending!
I think he's trying to refute your claim that your will isn't free. I.e. you made that comment of your own free will. Not literally asking why you made the comment.
Why does this article just comment on the outrage and doesn't discuss why all these individuals are outraged? I take it from context clues that it's because this new cookie has far too many calories in it, but it just seems like lazy reporting to not get a quote that speaks to that.
I'm in the same boat, wondered what was up with this weird buffering that I've never had before. Guess I'll white-list YouTube ads...
Just finished it last week. Season 1 was decent, 2 and 3 I was really wondering why everyone had talked up the show so much, but season 4 is where I felt it got real. Quality TV, I do recommend, but I do think it's a bit overhyped.
If anyone hasn't tried Mashlee yet, give it a go! Hilarious! Try the first episode, and you'll assuredly know if it's for you or not
Work in finance, but I have a degree in computer science! Been a hobbyist since my early teens running game servers and the like for my friends. Never persued tech professionally but it's definitely helped a few times in my career. Just helped our web dev guy a week or so ago on getting our office's public IP so he could block it from showing up in his analytics. For now I'm content running my home lab :)
Sorry to say, it will do nothing at all for you in a server setup. You could run any game server without a graphics card at all and it would make no difference. Game servers would be better served by a good processor and lots of RAM.
The only thing a graphics card could do for you in a server is if you host a media library (e.g. Plex or Jellyfin) and then need to transcode video for a device that can't natively play it (e.g. TV can't natively overlay subtitles, so the server has to burn them into the video that streams to the TV). Another instance could be running image processing on a security camera feed for example.
I'm putting in for Spiderman Remastered! It's the next game on my list when I finish Stardew Valley. Thanks for doing this, excellent community building!
I'm not attempting to go sober, but I do want to appreciate the effort you put into helping those who are! Noticed this post come across my feed and want to encourage everyone in this community! Keep fighting the good fight
I mean that's not really true. The new FTC chair literally got the position by writing a paper on why Amazon should be broken up, and has raised numerous cases to stop recent M&A activity. One Meta/FB acquisition of a VR company, the Microsoft Blizzard/Activision buyout, among others. They've been shut down a lot by the courts.
Really wanna buy Dave the Diver, but still need to get myself together and finish Tears of the Kingdom
Yeah this is insane for me to read. I'll say it's about 8pm-2am for me that the world is all quiet and everything is just peaceful. I've had some of my best ideas and made many life decisions in these hours.
Thank you for making these! They are very enjoyable, and I'm always delighted when a new one comes across my feed!
View All Communities on Single Instance
Is there any way to view and filter all communities on a single instance, aside from your home instance? I.e. my account is on lemmy.world, I can go to the community browser and select "local" and filter new/best/etc. Is there a way for me to do this for lemmy.ml?
