I just installed Factorio on my Steam Deck. I've heard the devs are working on adding controls similar to Switch. I'm guessing it's not implemented yet, but I hope it is soon! Until then I'll keep fiddling with my own custom layout. I can't really use k+m at the moment but I need to increase production.
I play with Stardey Valley Expanded and a few other cosmetic mods and the load of time is about 20 seconds. I did try to add some other big content mods that add more people and towns and yeah, the load times made me hold off on those for now.
Yeah, it's not bullshit to be conservative with climate models because they are incredibly complex. It's good practice. However, because of the political climate around climate change, scientists probably er on the side of being extra-conservative, and the models are still dire! So, if the real world trends happen to go outside the bell curve, not in our favor, which keeps happening, we're fucked.
Wow I think I want to do this too. Can I ask which hypervisor you use? And, can you get gaming performance in a VM like you can on bare metal?
