What this really means to me is men saying, don't push for equality or I will physically hurt you. "Equal rights equal fights" is just an excuse to commit the violence you've always wanted to commit.

If that's not the way the people who use these phrases feel, then they should rethink using them because imagine how it it would feel:

Common sentiment is, oh you want intergalactic equality with all races? You're saying you're cool with getting telekenetically beaten up anytime right, RIGHT? Sure maybe you can't compete telekenetically with the flasnorbs, but you want equal rights right?!

You should be happy to even be included, why should you get the same right to vote on the international polls as the flasnorbs when you can't even fight back telekenetically? Your place is in your menial jobs, not jutting about the galaxy, know your place.

Obviously this is just a metaphor for how real woman are feeling in our real life.

100% agreed, the complications are part of the equation but shouldn't stop us from making a basic system that works for most people. As long as there's a way to manually enter and categorize exceptions in the form of assets, extra income, investments, etc it would work for almost everyone.

For w2 employees that makes a whole lot of sense, for the self employed it doesn't really seem possible for the govt to calculate

VSCode is the best code editor around, the plugin ecosystem is phenomenal, copilot specifically has been the biggest boost to my output in 15 years of development.

I've been releasing my react native apps for years instantly to beta and alpha in-app update channels. Testflight is slow, the app store is slow, codepush is fast af.
