This isn't new either, that's the worst part, for me. Texas 2015
There's a section of 696 in metro Detroit that was wavy for at least 10 years. I think they finally fixed it a few years ago.
In a car with poor suspension, you could have easily given a back seat passenger a concussion.
Hot
I went outside to try setting up a shade tarp in our yard. I was outside for maybe 30 minutes. This was an hour ago and I still don't feel quite right.
I despise this heat.
If you're using a phone with a designated desktop mode (Samsung Dex), try replacing your computer with your phone for a while. Depending on your needs, you may find you don't often need a computer.
My wife has a 7FE ($429 at Best Buy right now in the US.) and she loves it. It's basically her personal computer and she is also a big digital note-taker and annotates documents as well. She used to have a Tab 8 but wanted a bigger screen. She's not noticed any difference in performance moving to the FE.
I would also add that Tech Spurt's YT channel is a great one for mid-range, very real reviews of tech.
Without a clear budget, my recommendation would be to figure out the note taking app you want to use, then look for a tablet that runs that app well.
With that said, the S pen experience is top notch and I would recommend a Samsung tablet for the smoothest pen experience.
I've seen this rumored as well. It would be a welcome addition to the devices IMHO.
I've seen a few other people mention this. Perhaps that's something to look into. I want to get a softener for sure.
I went from a Samsung to a Pixel. I appreciate the camera on the Pixel. It produces pictures closer to how I like them. But I really miss being able to use dex with a monitor to adjust them.
I'm signed up to receive updates. I'm really hoping they follow through on bringing it here.
Rare sighting!
Spotted a second Fiat 500e while driving my own 500e. Nice to see in a state other than California!
I only go outside if I need to. My kids can entertain themselves inside for a while.
Thanks for setting this up! Time to post links to here on r/Houston.
I still use an out of state area code. How important are area codes for most people at this point in time?
Drinking water question
Glad to see this finally show up!
I know there aren't many of us here, yet, but how many of you drink tap water? I'm from Michigan where this is a very normal thing to do, but I know it's not the norm in other places.
Also, if you don't drink the tap water, what caused you to stay away from it?
There was a line out the door and a full parking lot around 1pm today. I'm excited to try it, in two months or so when there no line!
