A coop near us is rolling out 1Gb fiber up/down to rural homes. Considering most of them could only get DSL or use 4G/3G internet, it is amazing. I have to wait to see if they come in town for their rollout, as they have to pay another power company to use their power poles. Everyone I know is switching to the coop as it is cheaper, more stable, and unlimited.
*arr can also use lists that people make. I have also seen where users can request it in Plex, and *arr will add it.
5a network doesn't come back
When I go to my basement, my Google Fi Network says no service. I understand this part. When I leave my house though, the network doesn't come back automatically. I have to turn on/off airplane mode or restart my phone to get the network connected again. I tried resetting my wifi, mobile and Bluetooth, but that didn't fix it. I tried a few other options but nothing seems to make a difference. I don't remember having this issue on my pixel 3a. Has anyone found a fix for this? I am tempted to have tasker turn airplane mode on/off, but I was hoping for a better option. Maybe another phone would work better.
We have city water, so we added a whole house water filter instead. It wouldn't be enough on its own for some, but for us it is plenty to make sure we don't have any sediment in our water.
This is a great tip. The only thing you have to watch is enterprise grade networking is usually louder and uses more power. You can replace fans to make it quieter on some equipment, but sometimes it needs the airflow. I just got a brocade icx6450-48p network switch delivered for $85, 48 poe ports and 4 sfp+ ports. You can get some great used enterprise hardware for amazing prices.
