I often return to the first track, Love, from First Meditations (for Quartet). It’s recorded in 1965 and the final recordings of the classic quartet with McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, and Elvin Jones. Any other fans of that track out there?
I listen to KCSM The Bay Area’s Jazz Station https://kcsm.org/ and TSF Jazz, a French jazz station https://www.tsfjazz.com/
Two of my favorite alto sax players: Cannonball Adderley https://youtu.be/L3UwJkncE-U and Arthur Blythe https://youtu.be/x-F5O369cwQ The solos on those two tracks amaze me at every listen.
Both Pharoah’s soprano sax playing and his vocals are very beautiful.

Heard this track on free-form radio WFMU and thought I’d share. (It was on the not at all strictly jazz show Do or DIY with People Like Us on June 7, 2023 https://www.wfmu.org/playlists/shows/128324).
