Lemmy is CEO-proof. After Digg, Reddit and Twitter, that term should be a thing
  • More generally speaking, Lemmy (and other federated services) are board-proof. CEOs are not typically the actual culprit, they are the puppets of the wishes of the board. Often times they have significant power, especially if they are also member of the board or a significant owner, but not always.

    In case of reddit, it's owned by Condé Nast, which is a subsidiary of Advance Publications.

  • This place has been far worse than Reddit, thanks to the t... ... slightly left of center people that are the majority here. Things will probably be better if we get more people here, though, since these slightly left of center people are far from the majority in the general populace.
