want to develop android app - where to find collaborators?
hey guys! i love kbin, but i don't like how there isn't an app. that's inspired me to start working on a client for kbin called basket. this client will be designed using the Material You design language for android, and will feature some of my favorite features from other apps, such as kbin.
the only issue is that - i have never made an android app. i have never used an api. all of this is brand new to me. because of that, im looking for collaborators to help me develop the app, and teach me some important things about application development. im an undergraduate college student, so learning is kinda what i do now.
how would i go about finding collaborators to bring my vision to life?
the great thing is that magazines doesn't have to be specifically for kbin, making it great to use on lemmy too ;)
excited for the kbin api to release!!
im incredibly excited to be able to make our own apps for kbin. ive never made an app at all, but im excited to start my journey by making an android client for this app. it will use material you and try to replicate the feel of baconreader - the app i used for the red guy. thanks ernest for everything you do!! \<3
WOW i just changed some settings in (https://kbin.social/tag/kbin) and it looks SO much cleaner now! rounded corners+compact view has made the site looks so much more friendly. thanks ernest!!

it's the thing on 196. it was one of the largest community on the red app
i think it would be nice if where (https://kbin.social/tag/kbin) says the magazine/community, it should also have the server attached, like instead of "technology" it should be "technology@beeh

unless it's actually combing all of those communities, im not entirely sure.
