i thought it was kinda silly when reddit blocked porn from the all & popular but holy shit do i appreciate it now. i’ve never seen my feed as bad as this. i’m getting so much that i will have 2-3 posts in a row from the same community.

ah, rate limits. something twitter was absolutely blasted for but makes sense here because we love lemmy :) even though it serves the same purpose.

Earlier this year we learned those consumer banking losses have come mostly from Apple Card and a Goldman acquisition called GreenSky.

As for why Goldman is seeing such a tough time with its nascent consumer banking offerings, the company says the primary cause is loan-loss provisions which are when a bank has to compensate for greater than expected unpaid credit card balances and loans.

too many line breaks. viewing a thread like this one, everything has a line break between it. too crowded. also, the swipe buttons have a black outline to it. shouldn't it just be a solid color?

meaning it’s just as alive as it’s always been. traffic has hardly stopped as of now.

i was kind of expecting them to redesign this at this point. out of place design and its not unheard of for apple to drastically change things during beta (see safari changes last year).

meh, twitter and reddit are moving along just fine. this happens every once and awhile and nothing comes from it. the content on lemmy is bland. i think this will be a trend that dies off as more people don’t understand how it works.

i know you can just have one account but what people keep ignoring is that when a post links to another instance, you need to log into it. cross posts work well but if you interact with it, you need to log into their instance.

i hope so. right now it just feels niche and you have to “get it” to use it.

strange. i didn’t realize banks may not be accepted. i’ve only ever had an issue with visa/mastercard.
