Is there any way to have gnus put your sent emails in the Sent folder through IMAP?
  • Update: This has been resolved thanks to Adam and the solution is as seen on his blog.

  • Is there any way to have gnus put your sent emails in the Sent folder through IMAP?

    Hello,

I am trying to switch to gnus for my main email client, however I cannot figure out how to get a copy of each email sent to my default Sent folder used by other email applications that was created by my provider (Posteo to be exact).

I have tried different things, such as by seting archive folder and attempting to gcc, but none of these have worked.

Additionally, I see many posts online are about doing this with an archive about once a month, whereas I just want each individual message to be placed in the "Sent" folder when it is sent.

    Thank you.

  • this doesn’t even begin to make sense, the crime was so egregious that even folks like macron and darmanin have condemned it with full force, when they criticize a police action you know it really is that terrible

  • AdGuard vs 1Blocker on iOS?
  • I like using AdGuard DNS profile on iOS. I have been using it for years and it works great!

  • Google Domain alternatives?
  • I also recommend Porkbun, I have been using them for years with no problems.

  • looks great fellow guix user! dwl-guile and dato-guile look very interesting, i may need to switch to wayland soon and try it out (i’m currently using xmonad).

  • Goodbye, everyone
  • Sorry to hear this, your personal health is always the most important thing. I hope you can find fun in your other projects and thank you for your hard work.

  • That would probably make more sense tbh, I just got this config the way it is while learning Haskell and haven't felt the need to change it since.

  • what web browser do you use and why?
  • qutebrowser really is great, I have tried all of the browser add-ons and other vim-like browsers but I always find myself coming back.

  • [XFCE + xmonad] kanagawa guix
  • Thanks! I used xmonad because I was learning Haskell and thought it would be a good way to get some actual experience. This is my desktop which I use X due to nvidia issues with wayland but I actually just received a new laptop today and I have tried wayland on that.

  • What browser / extensions do you make use of?
  • UBlock Origin, Bitwarden, SurfingKeys

  • PC: Qutebrowser iOS: Ecosia

  • 👋 Have you stopped using Google much because of ChatGPT/Bing ?👀
  • No, but recently i’ve stopped using Google as well. Currently I mostly use Ecosia, I think their company philosophy is pretty cool and I like the results so far. I don’t think that ChatGPT works as a substitute for a search engine for my uses at least, as many of my searches require me to check multiple links and I don’t always type in the full natural language sentences necessary for ChatGPT.

  • Which project(s) made you go “I can't believe this is open-source”?😎
  • Firefox is the first to come to mind. Also all the KDE software (when run in KDE).
