Preppy cartridge too short?
  • @Stopwatch1986 I'm sure there were/are some Parkers that did it too, now that I think about it

  • Preppy cartridge too short?
  • @Stopwatch1986 Ah, you're right about the Safaris! Most cartridges are made to fit inside as many pens as possible, so there aren't many that work that way. The way they fit is strong enough that it takes a fair amount of force to dislodge it, at which point I'd be more concerned about the state of the pen than if the cartridge has been knocked loose.

  • @Stopwatch1986 Why do you need it to reach all the way to the back of the barrel? As far as I'm aware, very few (if any) cartridges actually do that.

  • Kaweco Perkeo x Koh-I-Noor Document Blue
  • @redbird The Kakimori is fantastic. If you’d prefer a more pen-like experience try the Sailor Hocoro (https://www.afth.co.uk/sailor---hocoro---dip-pens-1333-c.asp) which you can get in a couple different nib sizes & colours, as well as a feed so that it holds more ink per dip.

I feel like β€œink per dip” or β€œipd” should be a unit of measurement we use for dip pens 🀣

  • Good journals/planners for fountain pens?
  • @kalanggam As others have said, the Hobonichi's are great with fountain pens, or if it's more of a pure journal you're after the Luechtturm1917 Bullet Journal performs excellently.
