Thanks for the info! I’m hoping for a few years, at least, with daily use. Would steel legs like these from Semi-Exact be enough support to use glue only? BTW, I’m not married to the glue-only concept. Just really curious about all kinds of joinery.

New bench. My third in two months, and feeling much more confident.
2x4s, mdf top, pocket-hole screws, (some pocket-holed and some counterbored).
Towel rack for the pool area.
Saw it on the Kreg site and mostly followed the plan. All 2x4s with pocket holes.
My dad and I had the misfortune of driving behind a truck that apparently had a load of dead cows headed for the rendering plant. No place to pass on the highway for a few miles and it was summer. Horrible.
