Yeah totally, well implemented motion blur goes a long way to making 30 fps feel better than it should. The 40 fps versions of horizon and miles morales feel like a great compromise that I wish more games implemented.

The big thing is that the game has to be REALLY well optimized to justify 30 fps only. If starfield still has gameplay or performance issues then it'll be a pretty rough scenario.

30fps is fine with a corresponding level of graphical and world fidelity, I would love to see a 40fps / 120hz option as it feels so much better than 30 fps and is likely achievable on consoles.

The FF16 demo is a perfect example of an awful 60 fps option as it dips well below that constantly and makes the whole presentation so much more blurred. A well designed / curated 30 fps mode works for slower paced games, it'll be interesting to see PC performance and whether higher frame rates are accessible on reasonable hardware.

I played for awhile on launch after dropping off shadowlands HARD. I've been playing on and off since BC.

It's okay, probably my favorite expansion since pandaria. The first raid was pretty fun on heroic but still felt a little shallow compared to the classic cadre of raids (ICC, Ulduar, Sunwell). The mythics felt pretty well designed apart from some really iffy affixes for the first season, I dropped out before the new rotation so I can't attest to that.

Overall the game just feels way too grindy for me to get into anymore. Professions still feel useless and I don't get satisfaction out of pushing m+ to see my rating go up. It was wayyy better than shadowlands and BfA in my opinion, and if you have a good friendgroup / guild to do content with then it's a fun time.

I didn't have time to commit to the mtgo all access this go around, and it wouldn't have made a big difference since the deck I really want to get more reps in with uses Triumph of St Katherine which isn't on mtgo yet =(

Battle of wits on mtgo seems like a slam dunk, too bad you lose the BDE factor of slamming down the pile of cards lol

It's wild how cheap SSDs have gotten recently, I'm slowly getting the parts together for a new PC and this seems like a no brainer right?
