Nerdy guy; refugee from Reddit. Into tech, music, and weather. Also on kbin and Squabbles, but this is my home.
Big fan of Bitwarden here.
Someone is developing an app called Supercell Wx. Works really well. https://github.com/dpaulat/supercell-wx
Big fan of DuckDuckGo and Startpage. Brave Search is also a fine choice, as well.
I cared more about the niche communities than I did about Reddit as a whole. Once those move over here, I'll be just fine.
Using openSUSE Tumbleweed and it works very well with gaming. Like others said, the distro doesn’t matter but check on the hardware compatibility. It really depends on what you have in there.
He's just digging the grave more and more... but I doubt spez cares as long as he gets his golden parachute in the end
This is one of the reasons why I respect him so much.
Good riddance to bad rubbish, as they say
I want Reddit to get what they deserve. Fuck 'em.
I really hope Christian gets through this. Working so hard on an app for years, only to see it get flushed down the toilet because of Reddit's ridiculous pricing and them not budging on it, has to be a nightmare to experience.
Using openSUSE Tumbleweed on my main PC. Works very well for my use; probably my favorite rolling release distro.
Liking it so far. Found some great communities and have enjoyed it. :)
Agreed. The irony is strong there lol
So far, Lemmy > Reddit. Was able to easily find equivalent communities and honestly, I enjoy it. :)
Waiting on r/linuxmasterrace tbh
