Clean energy transitions are cheaper than the fossil-fueled path we are currently on
  • Not being a suckup, but I've never seen a .ml mod or admin ever be a MBFC apologist. in fact i've seen the opposite; a .ml mod or admin saying why using MBFC is meaningless. So maybe the reason they are giving you is legit?

On the other hand, I've seen multiple mods on .world worship MBFC as the holy grail 🤮

Although i also agree with what [email protected] said

  • Dresden Peace Prize goes to the late Alexei Navalny
  • The US president who murdered so many muslims with drone strikes? I'm not surprised.

Looks like you have to be xenophobic, a murderer, a racist, or a combination of all three to win a peace prize nowadays

UN Security Council resolution calls for Gaza ceasefire
  • Absolutely not. That's why when i heard the US abstained i had to double check why, and predictably it was because of the length of the ceasefire.

Also, demanding the change of language from 'permanent' ceasefire to 'sustained' ceasefire was scummy and probably also part of the reason why they abstained and let the vote pass.

  • Democracies under threat around the globe
  • This, in my opinion, is the biggest problem. Neoliberalism, unchecked corporate capitialism is the main threat to democracy.

It might sound like hyperbole to some people but i also really feel like it is putting the whole of humanity in danger. With the unchecked plundering of resources around the whole world, and the destruction of ecosystems just for more profits for the ruling class.
