  • Hello, I’m the creator of the lemmy.world community! It seems like y’all have a good thing going, and I support that! For some reason I see fewer threads and subscribers for the kbin magazine when i search for it on Lemmy. That’s why I thought we had more momentum there, but it seems like that activity here is thriving!

If the mods here would like to take over the Lemmy instance for whatever reason, I’m happy to hand it over as well. :)

  • Hi, creator of this community here! I don’t have any opinion on which community should be the “official” one, but I do want some form of OpenSUSE community in the activity pub space. It seems like the folks on kbin are more keen on moderating, so I would be happy to support those folks! The only thing currently is that i only seem to see a small subset of the comments from kbin on lemmy.world, and the number of subscribers appear smaller when I search for the kbin instance on Lemmy than when I see it on kbin. Hopefully that can be sorted out, so more people can find the kbin magazine.

  • Welcome to OpenSUSE on Lemmy!

    Getting us started! :)

I'm not trying to run the show here... if anyone is interested in modding this community, please let me know. I just started this so that we can start forming a community. Also, please start posting content and questions so that we can build our presence here!

I'm using Tumbleweed on a Thinkpad T480 as my daily driver. I'm getting curious about MicroOS and might try Kalpa soon...
