That's right, I just can't remember anyone's names.
Even the amount of pre-written stuff for Crusader Kings is insane.
I once got seduced and murdered by my own sister as revenge for murdering my brothers to inherit their kingdoms. The funny part was that the "getting seduced by my sister" part was apparently a scripted event based on actual history. And that's just one example.
- Being a teacher usually requires a Master's degree. She very probably has student debt.
Yeah, the combat in Skyrim is boring and uninspired, but that's still a step up from Morrowind's combat.
"It is not the severity of punishment that deters crime, but the certainty of punishment."
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me.
Yeah, if I were Vlad, I'd find a way to magic myself up a nose; he looks way better with one than without.
I feel like there is a difference between voting for someone and voting against someone.
I don't like how noted war criminal amd possible lizard person Dick Cheney endorsed Harris, but Cheney has never said, "I like what Harris is going to do"; instead, he tried to frame it as a vote against Trump because...well, it's Trump.
And of course, right-wingers don't have any capability for self-reflection, because the proper response to fucking Dick Cheney calling you evil is to look in the mirror and ask yourself some hard questions.
I want to be the one to point out that retired generals making political statements is heavily frowned upon, so for them to take a step beyond that and ENDORSE A CANDIDATE is practically unheard of except in fringe cases like Michael Flynn.
Upper brass is a pretty exclusive club, and retirees don't generally make political statements to avoid stepping on the toes of the currently serving generals/admirals. If multiple generals/admirals felt the need to take this step, they would've done it with the knowledge and consent of current leadership.
Only stupid people try the medicine drug. You are stupid.
Both things can be true.
Like...I get it. Realpolitik has to win out here; trying to arrest Putin while sandwiched between two countries who would be really pissed off if you tried it may not be the best of moves.
That being said, I don't know enough about Mongolian politics to judge if it's a matter of "can't" or "won't". "Can't" is something I can begrudgingly understand; "won't" is just shitty.
The plot badly needs some pruning shears taken to it; to say that it moves at a snails pace is an insult to snails. Like, why did we need an entire faux high school arc? There's plot-relevant stuff there, but they can cut most of that and the game would be better. Filler arcs in a story that's...what, ten games now? That's why this series is still obscure, despite there being a lot to like here.
If you need something to scratch that JRPG itch, you can do a lot worse, and there's a reason this series shows up on "hidden gems" list. But...damn. There's so much content and story, and a fair chunk is little better than filler.
Mark Meer is great, and definitely worth playing thru to experience. Not quite at the same level as Jennifer Hale's performance, but it was still absolutely brilliant.
Still, I hear this every time I hear Shepard talk to Dr. Chakwas.
A bunch of inbred royal fucks beefing over turf.
Which aptly describes basically every war in European history, honestly.
Given how he was threatening Merchan, the jury, and the witnesses (not to mention multiple violations of his gag order), I'd say prison time is unlikely, but not off the table. I'd be pissed if I were Merchan and somebody came into my courtroom and behaved in that manner.
Bloodborne: Complete Edition for PC, with new and rearranged weapons (I hate how the only strength+bloodtinge weapon is near the end of the DLC area), armor sets, and restored cut content. I'd especially love for them to go thru the chalice dungeons and eliminate most of the reskinned and duplicate fights.
Bloodborne is good enough to stand alone; I'm not sure where they could go with a sequel.
Journeys (the shoe chain) and Hollister Co. both use Linux distros on their point of sale machines. Hollister's machines are pretty locked down and can basically only run the RPoS software, but a lot of Journeys' software is browser-based, so they have to be a bit more capable.
Pretty sure they're both custom distros, though.
A man who died a slow and excruciating death of lung cancer after spending most of his career denying that smoking caused cancer.
Good riddance.
Really, given that he violated his gag order multiple times and threatened the judge, the jury, and the witnesses, Merchan should absolutely give him some prison time, and point out during sentencing that simply keeping his mouth shut and respecting the process would've resulted in some probation and community service. Most first-time offenders don't get prison time for this, but Trump couldn't stop running his mouth.
Two years would be a just punishment, I think.
