TextSpaced "a thrilling sci-fi MMORPG that you can play in your browser [which] has been designed to provide an enjoyable experience for people of all abilities, including those who are blind or partially sighted".
On tabletop me and teens have been enjoying the Nexalis TTRPG
Same though we would spin a quarter and then take turns flicking it while still spinning to maintain the spin; whoever knocked it over took the penalty flick against their knuckles.
I did eventually manage to beat TMNT however the NES game I never managed to beat was Ghosts 'n Goblins.
To be fair I never got to play Battletoads back then so idk how it compares.
Yeah most of my skills are in the 40's aside from fishing and foraging from lots of magnet fishing
Total level 443 so far and while the core loop was already good the new content has really elevated the experience
Started playing BAR recently and am loving it. Prior to this I'd only played some SC2 and watched some videos about FAF.
I've been playing with my 8yr kiddo against bots as we both learn the mechanics. The amount you can customize a match has been great.
Also been watching the pro league tournaments on their YouTube channel which are great fun to watch.
Previous HR was well beyond retirement age essentially working to have something to do and one day emailed all of management a spreadsheet asking us to verify our information. That sheet contained each of our full names, addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, social security number, etc.
To my knowledge nothing of significance happened. I have my credit frozen.
Thank you; it's been a long, hard road for sure and our kiddos are now grown and doing well. We took the lessons learned and went into foster / adoption and now have a large family which has been a huge learning experience of its own.
That was me. Girlfriend and I got pregnant when I was 15 and again at 17. Kept both and got a job. Studied hard and graduated 19th in my class with honors. Ton of negativity from school staff and loss of friends which is still hard to let go of. We did marry the fall after I graduated and after years of poverty things have slowly gotten more stable.
He sounds like a wise man. Congratulations on the move and hope you both a great life :)

Kids ask for a YouTube show, I get to evaluate and then they get safe watching
We have a big family and have named ours:
- Beast = 2004 Ford Excursion
- Burgundy = 2011 Honda Odyssey (dark red)
- Bus = 2004 Ford Econoline E350
It never gets old yelling down the hall "to the beast!" :D
Ditto - oldest email I still have in archive is from Nov. 2006 so at least that old
Tried these recently as well; found a plastic cup that cut the holes perfectly. Kiddos loved them.
Water fountain
She absolutely preferred it over a standard bowl
95% is closer to what board game publishers take - best I've seen is 10% for the designer
Granted they have a lot more to lose
From that perspective seems Steam is perfectly fine
Most certainly
MyAnonamouse is the first place where I really saw attention drawn to encourage port forwarding and after seeing the difference will always have ports forwarded
Thank you and thank you also for the conversation
Please help me understand the needs of those experiencing an unplanned pregnancy
For a long time I have not felt belonging to either the Pro Choice or Pro Life groups and recently came across ProGrace which sets politics aside to focus on aiding the woman and meeting her needs directly both during and after her pregnancy regardless as to how she decides to proceed. This got my attention and I have since taken their training course, listened to their podcast and started some of their recommended reading to further my understanding.
In full disclosure I am a white christian male in the southeastern USA who has experienced two unplanned pregnancies myself and after learning of how terribly the church has handled their support of women, especially around unplanned pregnancy, I am looking to work with my wife to educate those within our sphere of influence to address this.
However, as mentioned above, I am a male and so naturally my experience around the issue simply does not compare to the depth of emotion and trauma that a woman would experience and so I am hoping to learn from those here who are or have experienced an unplanned pregnancy to better understand what support is needed to bring women through the traumas associated, overcome the fear and shame around the issue, and just generally help in any way I can.
I know this is a sensitive topic and so I would not ask for sharing directly in the comments here. Rather I am hoping to chat directly whether via Signal, email, etc. or even a quick call for those comfortable with that (can use Jitsi, Signal or another private voice chat to avoid needing to share any personal details). I would like to simply listen to your experience; I will not debate, judge, etc. as my goal is entirely to learn.
Thank you for taking the time to read and consider.
Nightfall vs Unchained: what's changed and why

Too Many Bones just arrived; excited to play
TMB has been on my wishlist for years but the price tag has been too high... this week I noticed it was in stock and a bit of extra funds had came in as well so I decided it was time to finally buy a copy.
The game arrived today and I'm super impressed with the component quality. Even the tuck boxes and other component containers are well beyond the quality I've come to expect in a high quality board game.
Hopefully will find time in an upcoming busy weekend to squeeze in a first play.
Looking for online coop between Switch and PC
Buddy of mine just picked up No Man's Sky on Switch but it lacks the multiplayer features of other systems.
He only has Switch and I only have PC so I've come here to ask:
Aside from Minecraft or Terraria what other games are available on both Switch and PC that we could play cooperatively together?
Also it's totally fine if I need to host a dedicated server for it.
Edit: specifically need PC version playable on Linux and ideally something open world.
Daughter thought it would be hilarious to text me this...
