  • If you don't want to mess with the surface kernel, I've had 100 percent compatibility with OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. No different kernel required on all 5 of my surface devices.

  • hdr rule
  • I use Linux daily but honestly I don't game on it and I watch movies on my proper hdr10+ dolby display so HDR on Linux was never even a thought in my head.

  • hdr rule
  • Do people really have issues with HDR? I calibrated my TV once when I bought it and it's been incredible since.

  • Qualcomm benchmarking controversy: What's happening?
  • Damn it man. I want arm laptops to be good. I can't justify buying anything apple even with Asahi as good as it is now.

  • Downloading/torrenting kids cartoons
  • For kids stuff I found stremio and torrentio to be easy if a bit convoluted to set up.

  • [solved] Audiobookshelf not fetching latest podcast episodes
  • Did you set up recurring searches for new episodes? Idk what it is set to be default but you have to set each show to do episode searches at a given interval.

  • What makes the best kids smartphone?
  • Honestly I use Google family link. I know people on here are against Google but it just makes monitoring the kids easier.

  • What makes the best kids smartphone?
  • I got my kid a rugged smart phone. It's pretty locked down and whatnot because he's young but unfortunately there's no way I'm going to send him to Public school without a phone, just in case.

  • Yeah but have you tried actually playing the PS4 version on a PS5. It hurts to look at that frame rate.

  • when he
  • New one is better. Old one is a product of the time and Harrison's character is a bit on the rape-y side.

  • Help needed for home screen
  • Personally I have no foxes for you, but these are issues I've never seen myself. Perhaps there's simply something wrong with your install and a clean reinstall would fix things.

  • Niger protesters demand US troop withdrawal
  • Damn what a headline to misread at first glance.

  • What's The Best Adblocker For Android Phones?
  • I have the same configuration running on all my devices, my kids and my wife's too, it's wonderful.

  • Nothing like that "new distro" feel
  • Garuda is great. It did get me addicted to the fish shell though and I've since moved back to windows for work reasons and I hate everything now.

  • Welcome to the Golden Age of User Hostility
  • That was kinda the idea. We just moved and I wanted to get something set up that I wouldn't have to worry about for at least a decade.

  • Welcome to the Golden Age of User Hostility
  • I'm one of the crazy people who spent 4 grand on a 85 inch dumb display meant for stores to use as digital signage. Honestly a great decision. It's no home theater display but damn if it isn't just as good as any smart tv I've seen. I just have it hooked to a raspberry pi running librelec.

  • Star Wars Outlaws’ Expensive Gold and Ultimate Editions, With Their Season Passes and Early Access, Spark Debate
  • It's not that kind of season pass. The article even says it's for expansions.

  • Gourmet Rule
  • I've got a wife and a kid and I will say that I live in butt-fuck nowhere where everything is cheaper than anywhere else, however groceries are still getting way too expensive.

  • Help with Tailscale uninstall

I recently decided to switch to proper wireguard instead of tailscale and finally be fully opensource on my home server, however, when I uninstalled Tailscale I lost internet on the server. I've tried editing the resolv.conf and rebooting a couple times but I can't find anything else and I am square out of ideas. Has anyone experienced this and know a fix? My main server is running ubuntu server 23.10.

Editing this to say I'm dumb and anyone who has this issue in the future. I ran netplan try and it fixed itself.
