This might sound like a nit, but it really reframes the scope of the problem:

In essence it really doesn’t. They shove things like this at a user in dozens of little places throughout various Windows and app settings. Then whenever any of those things gets a major update, here comes another invasive ad to get in your way and decrease your performance for the sake of MS’s data gathering. It never really “goes away”
I can’t imagine how thick and foggy the lens is between your head and the world around you.
Can you not tell the difference between “self-acceptance of not following gender norms” and “electing for sex reassignment surgery” because your comments sound like you’re oblivious to the SEVERAL steps between those things.
Imagine insinuating that informing kids about non-gender conformity has literally anything to do with pushing surgery on them.
Not everyone feels like a manly man or a girly girl. On another note, not everyone feels any empathy for people who aren’t like themselves, as you just demonstrated.
Teaching kids that some people feel different and not to stigmatize them is not the same as whatever nonsense you’re implying.

That sounds like an unreasonably oblivious way to interpret this situation. What would someone expect to happen to the passengers inside the accelerating 100mph (161kmh) car???
I cannot fathom all the people downvoting this comment. IMO it’s a more fun and dynamic game now. But also by objective standards: balance-wise more characters than ever are viable at tournament level, they removed 2CP by overwhelming request, 5v5 makes every individual more impactful (and 17% less likely to have a disconnect in a game), they got rid of bunker comps, and they drastically reduced the CC.
It’s so much better that I can’t believe the people downvoting this are actual players of this game. OW1 painted itself into multiple corners and then festered and struggled for years.
I say this as a big critic of the game too, and as someone who played since launch.
There isn’t a single reasonable interpretation of your comment or its context that would’ve meant what you typed here. Maybe lead with this next time and you won’t find yourself instigating useless arguments with people who would otherwise agree with you.
Who exactly are you addressing this to? The people who are getting screwed over aren’t the people voting for this.
Then they’re stupid NPC’s who are being voted in by others like them, who themselves believe people who aren’t like them are the stupid NPC’s.
In other words these are real people with real malicious intent. Don’t minimize the threat. Go vote.
The reason this case is receiving this much attention after years of still-lacking evidence is because a certain political engine is paying for it to.
