It's official: Smartphones will need to have replaceable batteries by 2027
  • Try cleaning it. I used to have the same issue, and had to get the subboard replaced multiple times too, until I realized that mechanically cleaning it with something really thin works as well. Felt really dumb after finding out lol. The pocket lint can absorb moisture and then the sensor doesn't work properly.

  • IT rule
  • I love the fact that in the bottom topology, the switch chip is quite likely using VLANs internally to separate the traffic. For example MikroTik CRS1xx/CRS2xx switches would definitely just create vlans internally (correct me if I’m wrong though, but I don’t believe there’s someone on earth who actually understands these switches), if you try to separate a port group. In fact even without any configuration they will create a vlan (4095 I think) that is shared amongst all the ports, so you’re kinda fucked if you want to avoid vlans for ideological reasons lol.

  • PLA Sticking to Bed
  • It’s counterintuitive at first, but using hairspray or 3DLac can really help to prevent the print sticking too much. Or can help it stick more, if needed, just like magic. But weird that it happens to the OP with PLA, usually PETG is the problematic material that sticks too much, not PLA.
