My general purpose 42 keys layout
  • Good writeup on your layout - thank you

  • corne wireless 36 keys. Keyboard layouts?
  • The layout needs to fit your daily use. So if you program a lot in C/Python/PowerShell ... then you need easy access to special chars. If you just write a lot, then you could get away with a simpler setup.

I have a somwhat simple setup - I code a bit but not that much - my 3x5 3-thumb keymap

  • Google Sheets template for Ferris Sweep layouts
  • Nice and simple to use šŸ‘

  • [Feature Request] clickable community links
  • My bad - I was thinking about the community in the header, not links :-)

  • [Feature Request] clickable community links
  • You can do that now - in compact mode a least

  • Can't wait to type away on those
  • Go ahead letā€™s see your keeb :-)

  • Is there a split with 34 keys as the Sweep but stagger like the Corne?
  • You could use a corne and break off the outer column

  • the three boards on my desk
  • What is the bottom one?

  • Moonlander or Iris for small hands?
  • Have you tried: https://jhelvy.shinyapps.io/splitkbcompare/ to see if the size is right?

  • *Permanently Deleted*
  • That's a nice looking keyboard!

  • What do I replace Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 with? Used for last decade. Don't even know where to start. thanks
  • It depends on what you need. A split keyboard is probably what comes close to the MS ergo. Somethink like a Moonlander https://www.zsa.io/moonlander/ or the Iris https://keeb.io/products/iris-keyboard-split-ergonomic-keyboard

But take a look at https://jhelvy.shinyapps.io/splitkbcompare/ - there you can compare and print layout of different spli keyboards and test before you buy.

  • Suggestion: share options for Memmy
  • I prefer using the Apple way - the share menu šŸ™‚

  • corne-ish zen
  • Nice build, like the caps

  • Poop With Friends rule
  • Brilliant! :-)

  • Shorts always ride up on one leg.
  • Get some short running tights. Some like to wear them under shorts. I just wear the tights - this is my favorite https://fusionworld.com/products/c3-multisport-tights

  • Shorts always ride up on one leg.
  • I have tried running in shorts but they always ride up my legs. Iā€™m using running tights now - much better.
