Why? Are we not doing enough?
  • It was always bound to happen after a massive user gain. Frankly, we should be quite happy we can get over 400 comments in a thread. That’s not insubstantial for a very niche platform.

  • r(ul)edditors try not to give money to the people you’re criticizing challenge (impossible)

  • I personally think it's only really worth defederating instances that are actively stirring shit in other instances. Otherwise, we're adults, I think we should be allowed to look at instances with different politics if we want to. I do hope Lemmy adds the ability to block entire instances for users, though.

  • Lemmy and Mastodon feel like the real web3.
  • I mean, I suppose creating alts on multiple instances might work as an alternative in the meantime. I don’t know if that’s frowned upon though.

    Completely agree on the last point, though. It is crucial that we spread out!
