The Sapphire custom knight skin by LOATR definitely subconsciously influenced this, and lost kin consciously influenced this! I was thinking something along the lines of a lost kin style vessel but with lifeblood when I was making it.
I wonder if that line about green grass has any lore significance or not. I'm not sure if it is a reference to Deltarune or just a reference to the kickstarter/red herring, but either way, I look forward to seeing how deltarune unfolds. Maybe in the future we'll be laughing about all the theorizing going on now, haha.
Something else that stuck out to me from the news letter was the Sans with ice cream bit. It would have been really funny if that made it into the game lol
