I love photos like this. Looks cozy!
It's planned but not implemented yet. I played this morning and it works fine as usual.
Did you install powertop recently? I had issues with Bluetooth with it.
Oh no. Suika made my top 3
I remember using this a lot in my first year of migrating from Windows to Linux. It was engrained into me that my system will degrade if I don't "clean" it regularly, like on Windows.
Very surprising to see Castlevania Legends there. Konami usually likes to pretend it doesn't exist.
ThorHighHeels' videos have a relaxed, positive vibe that I always enjoy. He usually covers lesser known games from the mid 2000's and his appreciation of visual design, music, and aesthetics really resonates with me. My favorite video of his is the one on Mysterious GBA Games.
Wow, that is seriously impressive! Well done 👏
I got a pair of Bose QuietComfort 45 recently and I'm very happy with them. Very comfortable and they work great.
edit: after reading your post more carefully, I realize it's probably not the answer you're looking for 😶
It's the NES version 😅 The sprites make for a great argument for using shaders. I couldn't find a fully unfiltered picture online, but you can still tell that this skeleton looks a little sillier
Team Fortress 2
Thank you. I used waifu2x to upscale the best image I could find online, then spent hours in GIMP cleaning it up manually. I'd assume AI upscalers could save a bunch of time but I did this just for fun anyway 🙂
I upscaled this Game Boy boxart because no high-res scans existed online (Koi Wa Kakehiki / 恋は駆け引き)

The game itself isn't very fun or interesting at all imo, but I do love this artwork. It's a simple puzzle game where you draw a path from your character to the girl, while avoiding letting the bully reach her. The title translates to something like "Love is a Strategy Game"
Out of context, "a power button" is really funny to see advertised as a feature.
I've been using NewPipe exclusively for about 4 years now and I'm very, very happy with it. I take background audio playback, downloading, adblocking, sponsorblocking et.c. for granted now and often forget how crippled the vanilla YouTube experience is.
they remind me of the Undertale shopkeepers! very detailed closeups, whereas the game itself has a much simpler style
Yeah, there's a lot of them, but they're usually in self-contained trilogies that aren't related to the others. I've only played Ryza 1 & 2, and plan on getting the last one later this year!
idk what client you're using but if you can find the sidebar, the numbers are available there
edit: on the home instance only, as someone in the comments pointed out 😅 my bad
Wow haha you just resurfaced memories I didn't know I had.
I'm too young and missed out on its release, but I've played some P99 and man EverQuest must have been an absolutely magical experience in 1999.
Amazing upbeat song from a Klonoa game on GBA that never left Japan

Since the GBA lacked dedicated sound hardware, I think this is very impressive, even despite the bitcrushed vocals 💀
"Cactus" from Final Fantasy Legend/SaGa (1990)

So I've been playing the first SaGa game, following the announcement of the new SaGa: Emerald Beyond that will release in 2024. I've never played a SaGa game before, but I love how rough around the edges and unconventional it is. You really have to use your imagination a bit sometimes and not interpret everything literally. The whole game kind of feels like a bizarre fever dream. This "cactus" included.
Interesting! I have no intention of playing it, but I've always thought people must be exaggerating how bad it actually is.
