I love reading, gaming, collecting and repairing old electronics and appliances, tabletop gaming, and flashlights
This one is from Sapphire and it came with an anti-sag bracket. My 3080Ti from MSI did too actually.
The Playstation 2 is a power bottom.
It's a proven technology. Did you think Polio and Measles just went away on their own? When the polio vaccine became a thing, people lined up around the street to take them because they had firsthand experience with how debilitating these diseases are. It's quite literally miracle technology.
People who are against vaccination have been used by con artists who will say anything inflammatory to gain notoriety and money and be on talk shows and sell books. Be mad at the people who fleeced you.
Now these diseases that have no place in modern society are making a comeback because of it.
Also, the fissile material has been radioactively decaying for decades and should no longer be refined enough to go critical.
I wonder if online multiplayer mods could be made for multiplayer games.
Goodwill is particularly bad about this. You can almost never find cool stuff in the stores anymore. It's all siphoned off for ShopGoodwill.
It was definitely one of my luckiest finds, but I think another part of it was that it was a pay by weight bin outlet. A St. Vincent De Paul in my case. Stuff isn't individually priced and you weigh your items on a scale when you check out and pay by the pound. It's usually very cheap because mine has a maximum of $5.00 per item so even heavy things like typewriters have been cheap.
I much prefer bin outlets because of this.
My daily driver laptop is the T410 I found at a thrift store for $5.
It's my kobold ranger, Cholla! I've had it printed off for probably a year at this point but I've finally decided to get around to painting him. I'm a bit rusty, but I can always print more if I want to redo it in thr future.
Yeah, I know. I'm only on the street for the short ride down to the hiking/biking trail. I shield it with my hand if there's an oncoming car.
I've wondered about 3D printing shrouds that would slip on the bezel to cut off the upper part of the spill.
I got a green one too from the 60s. This red one is from the 50s.
I rebuilt the red one and did the exhaust putty mod on the fuel/air mix tube so it wouldn't smell during use.
Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the new valve stem to stop leaking yet.
Coleman fuel is closer to naptha or gasoline without additives. Kerosene isn't voltatile enough so it would be hard to start. They did make models that ran on kerosene, but they had a preheater cup at the bottom of the generator tube that you'd fill with alcohol and light to preheat the generator to help the kerosene evaporate.
Online tabletops are a great resource for those who like using them, and were great for Covid, but I agree. There's just something missing when you're not sitting around a table with your friends.
You could build one yourself for a fraction of the price with a trip to your local home improvement store. Even starting without tools, it would be cheaper.
Exactly, 10% of a billion dollars is one hundred million. That's more than enough to live a cushy stress free life without ever working again if you're not an idiot blowing it all on dumb shit.
That puts you in the same net worth bracket as a lot of celebrity actors and musicians.
I've confirmed there's a tear in it unfortunately. Emitters are 519a 4500k dedomed.
Yeah, haven't invested in flashing kits yet though I plan to at some point.
I just got my D3AA a few days ago and I'm loving it. It's my first light with the must modern Anduril 2 features. I really like the aux colors for battery voltage right after shutoff.
I've got a D4K with 2700K 519a that I like using too!
Anyone else use their lights in the shower?
I love using warm lights. With the W1 Amber and the candle flicker mode in Anduril, I can relax and imagine I'm in some ancient torchlit bathhouse.
Copper KR1 w/ W1 Amber beamshots
Went for a lovely walk tonight. Not as much throw as some of my lights like the Wurkkos TS11, but it's half the lumens. Still a very cozy experience. Great to ceiling bounce in as a night light too, especially in candle mode!
Night walk with the Noctigon K1
Went for a stroll tonight with my Noctigon K1 with the Osram W1.
Unintentionally scared the shit out of a poor mourning dove. Might have to stop shining it in the trees when there's no leaves.
Also saw an owl and it didn't make a sound when it swooped across the street. It was very cool to witness.
Rotary dial adding machines are a great way to track HP and ammunition in combat!
26 regular arrows
10 +1 arrows
84 HP
Some interesting offerings from Nichia
They're broadening their market it seems.
Does anyone know what these are actually supposed to be?
[STROBE WARNING] Using Anduril's party strobe feature to freeze my ceiling fan.
Just tried this last night and it's very surreal.
Are there any boost driven soda cans?
I don't know if there are any that exist, but I'm imagining the runtime of something like an SP36 or Q8 with a boost driver. If you'd get even 50% more runtime that equates to hours of light depending on the setting.
