Humanity's trial
  • I think you mean Codium/VSCodium? Some of the extensions can be downloaded from the ms page and then loaded into it, but you are back at the moral questions that made you use the alternative.

  • Feds want vehicles to be safer for pedestrians’ heads; new regs proposed
  • America has been getting more and more dangerous for pedestrians over the past few years. It's a trend with several contributing factors—our built environment prioritizes passenger vehicle traffic and encourages speeding, and traffic enforcement is virtually absent in many cities. But it's undeniable that vehicle design—particularly of large pickup trucks and SUVs—has been causing excess casualties. For example, a study published in January found that an increase in hood height of four inches (100 mm) translated to a 28 percent increase in pedestrian deaths.

  • Why are earbuds so dang loud on PC?
  • Same, on windows I have had changed the front levels of the speakers to work in the range 0-25%. But I never know how the hell to reach that dialog in an easy way. I couldn't explain how I did it.

  • They're all vital
  • At the beginning of the year, the main developer, Ernest, was dealing with health issues (without details). The project has not had activity recently because of that, and it is not known much more. We wish him the best tho.

  • Right hand suggestion
  • It is funny that this gestures are taught as some kind of mnemonics, but then some for some other application another mnemonic with the opposite hand and same gesture is introduced and I don't ever remember which hand was associated with what anymore. So I remember something about hands that doesn't get me anywhere.

  • How dare you use a text editor because it's easy to use
  • My problem with those are that I always manage to get lost on where the program has its focus/what kind of instruction is expecting. And while trying to go back to normal I end up messing it more and more. Maybe some day I will get there, but it is still not the day.
